It happens to people who are legally married, separated, living with or involved in a relationship with a partner. Violence is a crime! Violence or abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional, and/or financial. It can include slaps, punches, choking, beating with weapons, forced sexual acts, and systematic destruction of a person’s self worth. Abuse includes harassment and threats.
What can I do? If you are experiencing violence in your life CADA advocates are available 24 hours a day. All services are confidential. Your safety is our top priority.
