Violence any person may experience violence at some time in their lives. Violence cuts across all economic levels, educational backgrounds, ethnic, racial, and affect ional preference lines. It happens to people who are legally married, separated, living with or involved in a relationship with a partner. Violence can happen to people of any age they may be doctors, homemakers, students, factory workers, lawyers, anyone. . . . . . . .
Violence is a crime! Violence or abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional, and/or financial. It can include slaps, punches, choking, beating with weapons, forced sexual acts, and systematic destruction of a person’s self worth. Abuse includes harassment and threats.
What can I do? If you are experiencing violence in your life CADA advocates are available 24 hours a day. All services are confidential. Your safety is our top priority.
